Grubs – Soft Plastics

Grubs are one of the most versatile and proven soft plastics for bass fishing. With their compact profile and curly, flowing tail, grubs create plenty of movement and vibration in the water, making them an excellent choice when bass are feeding aggressively or when you need a subtle, natural-looking presentation.

Grubs can be fished in a variety of ways, making them a must-have addition to any bass angler’s tackle box. Rig them on a jighead for a simple and effective search bait, pair them with a spinnerbait or jig as a trailer, or fish them Texas-rigged around cover. They are equally effective in shallow water, along weed edges, around structure and when targeting suspended fish.

The curly tail comes alive with even the slightest movement, allowing grubs to be fished slowly when bass are inactive or retrieved faster when fish are aggressive. Natural colours such as green pumpkin, watermelon and black are ideal for clear water, while darker or brighter colours can help produce more bites in stained or low-light conditions.

Whether you're targeting largemouth bass in dams, reservoirs or rivers, grubs offer a compact baitfish, insect or general forage profile that bass find hard to resist.
