Tube Baits – Versatile Soft Plastics for Bass Fishing

Tube baits are a proven bass-fishing soft plastic that continues to produce fish in a wide range of conditions. Their unique hollow-body design and subtle, erratic action make them an excellent choice when bass are feeding on crawfish, baitfish or other small prey.

Tube baits can be rigged in several different ways, making them one of the most versatile soft plastics in your tackle box. Texas rigging, flipping and pitching, Carolina rigs, weightless presentations and jig-style rigging can all be highly effective depending on the conditions and the depth you are fishing.

One of the biggest advantages of a tube is its natural fall. Rigged correctly, a tube can spiral, glide and tumble as it drops through the water column, often triggering aggressive strikes from bass following the bait.
