Bite Science launches with eight iconic tail shapes and a range of jig heads to match. The tail shapes and their colours were developed, tested and refined in Australia over 18 months, resulting in swim actions full of wiggle and flutter that are proving irresistable to many Fresh and Salt Water Predatory Gamefish Species.
The unrigged tails come pre-scented with fish attractant, to maximise fish-catching ability without the need to buy and apply scent separately.
Estuary and inshore species beware! The Bite Science Dirty Grub is a versatile curly tail soft plastic which is proving to catch fish in all South african conditions. The Dirty Grub with its ultra-jittery tail is especially deadly on species such as bream, flathead, perch, bass, and a range of different desirables including snapper.
The Dirty Grub can be fished fast or slow and even vertically, but it is extremely successful fished on an ultra-light jig head around structure and reef. Max Action Formula will get you that bite on even the toughest of days and once a fish sinks its teeth in and tastes that delicious squid scent, hold on because they won't be letting go!
This little critter creeps along the bottom and turns predators to prey as they cannot resist a bite. The Creepy Critter has multiple appendages made from a Max Action Formula which twitch and wiggle with even the slightest of movement. The Creepy Critter is intended to emulate a small crustacean such as a crab, yabby, shrimp or nymph which an array of Aussie species absolutely love to eat.
This soft plastic is best fished with a light jig head for shallow water and not a lot of action needs to be imparted to entice the bite, however it is equally effective worked down deep along structure. Species such as bream, bass, perch and even trout have been tamed by the smaller models of the Creepy Critter and the larger models are dynamite on flathead, mangrove jack, barramundi and more.
It’s no secret that the majority of South african estuaries and beaches are home to many species of sand worms and estuary predators such as whiting, bream, flathead or even luderick will not pass up an opportunity to eat them. Max Action Formula makes the Twitch Worm look and feel ultra-realistic in the water and combined with squid scent, the Twitch Worm becomes a great lure choice for all estuary anglers.
Twitch Worms are designed to be fished over shallow sand flats where predators are looking to extract worms from their hidey holes, however, this soft plastic is just as deadly fished close to structure or boat hulls where bream are laying and waiting for their next meal.
Substrike Jigheads have been designed and tested to stand up to hard hitting Aussie species and the harsh environments they reside in.
Featuring BKK heavy wire hooks, these jigheads give you the confidence that they will hold their shape no matter what you throw them at.
Substrike Jigheads incorporate a grapple-lock system on the shank of the hook which ensures your Bite Science soft plastic will not be torn off the hook easily and ensures you will always achieve the best possible action when working your lure
