Dragon Millenium CS Cast 2pc Casting Rods

he third edition of Dragon MILLENIUM rods is finally coming! After a few years, in which Dragon's offer in this price segment was represented by the Viper series, anglers get into the hands of heavily modernized - although at the same time very referring to their tradition - MILLENIUM HDG rods. The genes of their predecessors can be recognized in many new blanks.
The new blanks were manufactured in the Multi-Protection Layer technology, consisting of
laying several layers of graphite on the core with high resistance to damage. The ability to lay many mats with different stiffness and characteristics, without increasing the amount of epoxy resin used is already standard, and the result is slimmer, faster, lighter and more resistant to damage rods.

The multi-layer construction used combines three types of graphite from the Japanese company Toray:
- 24 million PSI graphite constituting the basic building block of the blank;
- high-strength high-modulus graphite, from 24 to 46 million PSI, in intermediate layers, especially in those places where blanks where special weight reduction and acceleration of action was needed;
- HDG Endurance graphite composite in the outer layer, increasing resistance to damage.

All elements used to reinforce Millenium HDG rods meet the quality standards set by Team Dragon:
- SiC guides with a ceramic ring that perfectly dissipates heat, with reduced diameter and weight, embedded in a light, but strong and flexible frame;
- dolniki connecting hard, light and durable EVA foam with ground cork
- modern TVS-type handles for direct contact of the angler's hand with the blank (DPS in the most powerful models);
- two-component, non-aging epoxy lacquer;
