    DRAGON NANO CORE CAST Casting Rods

    Narrowly specialized series Dragon NanoCORE- Cast and Spin rods for fishing from a boat, from descent or using drop shot technique, on small and medium-soft baits (5-12 cm) with a relatively high load (7-15 g). Their blanks are formed from graphite mats manufactured using so-called nanotechnology, a technique for creating nanometer-sized structures.

    Graphite mats used by Japanese company Toray made from carbon fiber with a very precise molecular structure. These blanks are extremely small outter diameter in relation to the optional power and strength, which is due to the special construction technology of the core blank, so called nano core technology. Such a constructed core of the rod increases the resistance to overload and mechanical damage, extending the potential time of using the equipment. NanoCORE spinning rods are at the same time very light and work in such a way so an angler knows about what is happening with the bait. Their action can be described as very fast (X-Fast), but slightly towards the fast (Fast), while maintaining a progressive blank deflection under load. NanoCORE rods provide a comfortable, confident haul, with full control over the fighting fish. Both rods have a good supply of power when it comes to casting weight, but with the descending method we do not recommend the use of lures with a total mass greater than described on the blank.

    he third edition of Dragon MILLENIUM rods is finally coming! After a few years, in which Dragon's offer in this price segment was represented by the Viper series, anglers get into the hands of heavily modernized - although at the same time very referring to their tradition - MILLENIUM HDG rods. The genes of their predecessors can be recognized in many new blanks.
    The new blanks were manufactured in the Multi-Protection Layer technology, consisting of
    laying several layers of graphite on the core with high resistance to damage. The ability to lay many mats with different stiffness and characteristics, without increasing the amount of epoxy resin used is already standard, and the result is slimmer, faster, lighter and more resistant to damage rods.

    The multi-layer construction used combines three types of graphite from the Japanese company Toray:
    - 24 million PSI graphite constituting the basic building block of the blank;
    - high-strength high-modulus graphite, from 24 to 46 million PSI, in intermediate layers, especially in those places where blanks where special weight reduction and acceleration of action was needed;
    - HDG Endurance graphite composite in the outer layer, increasing resistance to damage.

    All elements used to reinforce Millenium HDG rods meet the quality standards set by Team Dragon:
    - SiC guides with a ceramic ring that perfectly dissipates heat, with reduced diameter and weight, embedded in a light, but strong and flexible frame;

    The two-section casting rods Dragon Black Rock II are an excellent choice for fans of this style in fishing, especially when they stick to the combination of quality, style and feeling for uncompromising and functional performance, which they will get with the first touch.

    Designing the new generation, under a slightly changed name – ProGUIDEX – we decided to focus on maintenance the same level quality of the sensitivity of the rod and in the field of modern design add a bit to the plus. Connection of the Resonance System with the handle made from stiff graphite, which perfectly transfer the acoustic wave, that gives incredible impressions to the angler and the intensity of the way it receives the information from the lure or the fish attack is comparable with unfeasible in practice having one hand on the blank during fishing. Two from the three components of the handle are thin – walled moulders, made from light and very stiff graphite fibres in wooven carbon 3K technology. The design of the series is emphasized by dark red decorative braids and semi – translucent varnish in the same colour. The end of the handle is made from the blend of cork and rubber and black grip.

    For the equipment we chose FUJI handle with partially exposed blank and Alconite K-series guides selected according to KR-CONCEPT. In comparison to Guide Select series we managed to significantly reduce the weight of the rod without lowering the endurance.

    DRAGON CXT SF-X SUPERFAST Piece Graphite Casting Rod

    The CXT series is a continuation of the Japanese direction at the Dragon company. In cooperation with the TORAY Company of Japan factory, already known to the Polish anglers as a manufacturer of the MODERATE rods, the X-Cross CGT technology was successfully adopted, being later on the basis for manufacturing serial rods.

    CXT – is a name of a new method of production and at the same time of a unique arrangement of the graphite mats in the blank. Like in X-Cross CGT, separate layers are oriented alternately at right angles or at an angle of 45° to the blank axis. The effect is blanks with still small diameter and weight, obtaining at the same time marked increase in strength for longitudinal static (approx. 30%) and dynamic (approx. 10%) overloading, considerably more resistant to the so-called external mechanical injuries while offering more progressive action and better casting properties.

    Main assumptions of this series are:

    diversity of action – from medium slow to extra fast;

    slender blanks with quite thick walls, but with the internal hole smaller than normally;

    easiness to cast light and medium-heavy lures;

    complete deflection under load, giving confident pulling on with a very small percentage of fish being lost;

    construction of the blanks adjusted to the market needs of Poland and Europe, but strongly dependent on trends which are currently prevailing on the Japanese market.
