A paradigm shift in reel design

What makes a good reel really great?

It is the design, and the attention to detail in the design. And this is where the new MG fly reels come into their own. What do they have that will want me to look at and want to own one of these reels?
They are fully machined from aircraft grade 6061 T-6 bar stock aluminium, double anodized to last a lifetime. They all have a large arbor, thus allowing you to retrieve line faster, and the large arbour eliminates a great deal of line set, often mistaken for memory.
They have a fully sealed waterproof carbon fiber drag, which will go from zero to flat out with practically no inertia build up.
If not the lightest, they must be right up at the top of the heap in the lightweight stakes!
They are aesthetically very pleasing. In fact, they are beautiful looking reels.
The reels are priced to sell! Even with our shocking exchange rates, these reels are affordable to one and all.
They can be changed from right hand to left hand wind in a jiffy. (All reels leave the factory as right hand wind)
All of these reels carry a lifetime warranty. (See warranty details under warranty.
Initially, these little beauties will only come in Gunsmoke colour with Red trim, they will be followed by the Stealth Black with Red trim. Both colour configurations are bound to turn you on!

These reels come in 3 sizes: 3-4 (future model), 5-6 & 7-8.

MG Fly Reels Warranty
The MG FEATHERLITE series of reels carry a 5 (five) year warranty to the original purchaser. By this, we mean that if the reel is in any way defective, due to a factory fault, we will replace it with a new reel. However, we do not feel we should be responsible for reels that have been ill-treated, or damaged due to negligence, or an accident, but we will not leave you without a reel. We will repair or replace the damaged section at a nominal price.

A word of advice, please email the model reel you have purchased to murray@featherlite.co.za so that we have the purchase on record. It is very difficult to find the cash slip a couple of years down the line! To claim on your warranty, please email us at murray@featherlite.co.za giving a brief description of how the reel was damaged together with proof of purchase, and we will take it from there.
