EGG Leads have a bullet like shape for aerodynamic qualities and are light in weight, making them ideal for trolling,casting,running sinker and surfcasting. also the lighter E0 and E1 are great as Carolina Weights 

These lead weights have a hole down the middle which you would thread your line through. You can then add a swivel or a stopper and place the weight above your lure or bait.

The weight you choose will be dependent on how deep you want your lure to fish.
